Dress forms are all the rage right now. I am looking for the perfect "cheap" one and am not having any luck. I know I will one day soon but as I searched I found this beautiful one but the price is $699 from
Restoration Hardware! I will keep looking. xoxo
I know what you mean. I have always loved dress forms, too -- and I can't even sew. Once, in an antique shop, I spied such a beauty in the corner. It had been "upholstered" in printed feedsack fabrics -- all different, mostly in purples, lavenders, greens, and dark pinks. Oh! I practically ran over to it . . . the dreaded "NFS" (Not For Sale) on it. Drat!
ReplyDeleteGood luck in your hunt. My credo is, "If Restoration Hardware has it, everyone else will have it soon and for half the price."
Grace where do peeps get all the mini ones that they alter? I want some of those LOL.
ReplyDeleteCricut has a Summer in Paris cartridge with a 3D dressform. I'll have to put you together a few things and send 'em your way.
