Laduree Paris in New York City
Welcome Laduree Paris to Madison Avenue in NYC! I am beyond "tickled pink" with excitement. I got out of work early and walked fast to Madison Avenue and 71st street. I stood on line for an hour and a half all for a Pink Saturday post...oh the dedication I know. lol There was a slight problem with credit card machine going down every so often but the well dressed very sweet employees handled the crowds with ease and grace. I wanted a pink box of course so I picked six favorite macaroons and watched as they placed them in my little pink box! it can be held like a pocket book on the wrist held by a plastic bow. Fabulousness! Everything was so special and so pretty from the ribbons to the boxes to the tissue paper and stickers. I will definitely be back. It was so wonderful to see Madison Avenue buzzing with excitement. Laduree is right next door to Juicy Couture so much Pink happiness on one street! I heard a little rumour that a little seating area will be coming next year. My favorite is still in Paris on the Champs de Elysee.
Please visit our Pink Saturday Hostess from How Sweet the Sound to visit with some Pink Fabulous blogs!!

I'm booking my flight tomorrow. I will be arriving on Wed. also, around 2:30 ish. You will meet Jeanne, Deborah, and Claudia (she was suppose to be a Summer Breeze girl, but decided to do N.C. instead).
ReplyDeleteNow the kicker. I'm cancelling the Hotel. We have decided to drive back and forth to Jeanne's house. She only lives 65 miles away in Franklin, N.C. She has a FABULOUS cabin with 2 nice bedrooms, which Juliet and I stayed at last March, and she LOVES company, sooooooo that's the scoop.
I'm still stressing out about the shoe thing. I'm really hoping I can get out of it. I have NO idea what the hell to do with a shoe except wear it.
Now the laurel is another story.
So how's your weekend going? We had a major thunderstorm last night and early this morning, but it's hot and nice and muggy ; )
Can't wait to wrap my arms around you soon.

Ah! What a fabulous bakery! I wish I lived closer so I could shop there often.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful summer! It went by too quickly but I will be happy to say hello to autumn.
Do those tast as good as they look? I love the pink box that they come in. Jess and Nel went to Paris a couple years ago and loved the desserts there.
