My wonderful Blogger friend Sasha - Saucy from "Saucy's Sprinkles" came to New York with her Husband and I was blessed that I got to spend an afternoon with her. Sasha is an incredible baker and can re-create anything and we had discussed to go to lunch but also visit Laduree on Madison Avenue, so I figured Laduree Soho to sit and have lunch was much more fun. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere was stupendous! It was so lovely to sit there and catch up like we were life long friends, yet only blogger friends till that point. As we caught up we saw so many beautiful outfits and shoes and bags and perfectly made up ladies who lunch. We did some shopping afterward and then back to her hotel so she could meet her husband. I so enjoy having blogging friends visit the problem is that I never want them to leave. I am truly blessed to have so many beautiful friends. Thank you Blogger!

I've got to tell you, Grace...if I was anywhere near all that food, there would be quite a story on the 6:00 news about the crazy lady who dove into the pile of food and ate herself free from the inside out!!!!!!!!! Man, that looks great! I think next time I'm out I will try stacking my French fries like that just to see if it works with all fries or just those that are nicely squared like those. I think it would be neat to serve them that way at home just for kicks. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog earlier today, and I hope you have a happy weekend!
What a great way to share time with friends and family. Everything looks so tasty.
ReplyDeleteOMG Grace - you go to the most fabulous places. xoxo Nancy who lives the life of a New Yorker through Grace!

ReplyDeleteWOW--Such a fabulous meal! I wish we met before I moved west, Grace. Hopefully if I am visiting family NYC in the future we will have a chance to meet for lunch!
