20th Day of NY Christmas - Lord and Taylor

On the 20th Day of New York Christmas I go to my 2nd favorite windows Lord and Taylor! I am a bit of a traditionalist and love old fashioned Christmas and they are always right on point! Lord & Taylor has been celebrating the holiday season by decorating their windows since 1938. This year's windows were inspired by an illustration from the 1940s that asked "What Is Christmas Made Of?" The displays feature illustrations drawn by children in response to this question, and scenes representing the kids' ideas, from sledding to seeing Santa. Oh my goodness Soldier is going into the store and didn't see me....Is he here for a gift for me?

19th Day on NY Christmas - American Girl Store

On the 19th Day of New York Christmas I went to American Girl Store to see what Soldier Boy was staring at in the window. What cute little dolls wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday Season! They even invited me into their home for a party. All the girls were there. I think Soldier Boy (Sol Dier') is in the Cafe having some tea!

17th Day Of NY Christmas - Breakfast with Santa

On the 17th Day of Christmas I had breakfast and skated with Santa at Rockefeller Center with my small nieces. We sat down and there was a ton of food and fruit. Santa's cute elf came around to give the small kids, (not me) a glittery ball elves stuffed dolls and a stocking full of goodies! Then for dessert we had gingerbread men and candy canes...to go of course. The the Big Man himself came. Look he was the "real deal"! Of course I had to take a picture with him....hehehe Mrs. Clause and Soldier Boy watch out.

16th Day of NY Christmas - Sony

On the 16th Day of NY Christmas I ran into the Sony Building and saw a gorgeous big snowflake with words and wishes and greetings. I stopped and gazed at it and I read "Dearest Pink in the City, Merry Everything! I am enjoying following you through your Magical Journey of NY. With luv, Sol Dier'!" I walked up to the computer screens and typed in thank you all in PINK!

15th Day of NY Christmas - Baroque Creche

On the 15th Day of New York Christmas I give you the "Christmas Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Creche" at the Metropolitan Museum. The beautiful pieces were a gift from Loretta Hines Howard in 1964 and have been beautifully displayed every year. They do a beautiful lighting ceremony with music that brings you to tears. No pictures are allowed at this exhibit! I could never do it justice anyway.

14th Day of NY Christmas - Bloomingdales

On the 14th Day of Christmas I go shopping bag crazy at Bloomingdale's. Their window display are of some of their old shopping bags. It looks really boring the bags are cute but then they twirl around and Magic, a cute diorama is displayed. 3 of the bags you have to press a star on the wall and pose for a camera and your photo pops up on top of the screen for all of 59th and Lexington Avenue to see! Oh nooooo there he is the Soldier! Of course he saw my picture and is looking all around. Wait is that wine I see besides him? Haha is is stuck behind the wine stores glass. 13th Day of NY Christmas - Saks

On the 13th Day of New York Christmas I walk out of Sephora to look at the windows at Saks. Must say, so not impressed. For the past few years it seems they have a new person in charge and have based their window design on a children's book. This year it is "Who Makes the Snow".It is about a little girl named Holly who walks through the doors of Saks to fill her curiosity and visits the land of the Bubble Makers. The book and story are very adorable and would make a great gift. The inside of the store is decorated the same with a white and gold winter wonderland. The Holiday Department is beautiful. Also this year Saks removed their famous "Snowflakes" that covered the Fifth Avenue side. When at Rockefeller Center and you walk away from the Tree you would see them all aglow. They had a cute display every half hour the windows look like they open up and bubbles and snowflakes come pouring out onto the building to music. OOOh There he is staring at the American Girl dolls, it is the Wooden Soldier. He hears the music and started to wiggle. I have to go more places to see.





















Chocolate Bar with all the sweets and desserts going all around as you sit and enjoy some coffee or hot chocolate. Wonderful place to sit and relax.
