Pink Saturday - Wendy Williams Show
Happy Pink Saturday! I went with my friend Sara to the Wendy William's Show. Honestly, I really only saw 1 show in passing but liked her. Sara asked and so we went. She told me to wear bling and bright colors and of course I we both wore "PINK"! I walked to the Studio on 53rd and 9th Avenue and saw all this Pink and once we walked inside all this Pink and cuteness, feathers and bling! It was a fun show we had a dance party before the show on the set. As this was going on I thought How great a Pink Party to celebrate Beverly from How Sweet the Sound's 2nd Pink Saturday Birthday Party! Go look at her blog and visit some more Pink Saturday posts. xoxoxo

Alice's Tea Cup & Tinsel Trading
What a Fabulous Day I had! I got to spend the Day with 2 wonderful hearted talented women my "FRIENDS" Beverly and Sandi! We had a party at Alice's Tea Cup in NYC and then went to Tinsel Trading for a book signing and necklace class taught by Kaari Meng of the French General! There were so many wonderful women at the class and everyone helped each other and we laughed and shopped and ate and created a beautiful individual piece. I have always wanted to attend a Charlotte Lyons workshop and there she was with us. It was such a wonderful time Marcia Ceppos owner of Tinsel Trading was the perfect hostess. Looking forward to more classes at the store! She had to slow down a little with the move of the store but ladies who live nearby please call write or send a carrier pigion to her expressing how you would love to attend a workshop there. A few years ago I had taken some wonderful classes from Terri Ventura of Dime Store Daze. Looking forward to some more! There was so much food and this Book signing/workshop turned into a party with new friends and old! So wonderful how some events can spark that creative light in our hearts....this did!

"The Real Alice in Wonderland" book signing
Rizzoli started in 1964 in the Building I work in now on Fifth Avenue but moved to 57th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in 1985. It is a Historic Townhouse, 3 floors full of so many books and magazines. It's architecture reminds me of the library from Beauty and the Beast. It is beautiful. Rizzoli hosted the book signing event for the "fabulous" book "The Real Alice in Wonderland" By: C.M. Rubin with Gabriella Rubin. Alice's Tea Cup hosted the food and Beverages. Great scones.
Me and Author C.M. Rubin. She designed and made the prettiest green dress and she wore it well and had the cutest accent and I was waiting for the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter to show up also. What a facinating story to have this history in your family. This is such an amazing Book you really must pick it up. I never tell you what to do but the illistrations the stories the love that is poured into this book is just breathtaking! I had my book signed, drawed in by so many but do not have pictures of everyone so I wanted to mention another talented woman Deborah Frano. Deborah was the Art Designer for this Book. Amazing work!
Me with the sweet Gabriella Rubin Daughter of Author C.M. Rubin. She is a very talented young lady that is also in the book. We are holding Madame Alexander Dolls! Gabriella is wearing a "period" pink dress designed by her mom...so Alice Chic!
Lizzy Rockwell and David Cooper 2 wonderful Artists in the book.
Art By Lizzy Rockwell
David Cooper has this piece in the book he is a fabulous artist.

Nancy Rosin has some of her beautiful vintage ephemera in the book. Nancy is the President of the National Valentine Collectors Association and Vice President of the Ephemera Society of America. Her table was ful of amazing ephemera and myeyes were spinning all over the place, such beautiful pieces all in one place. She is standing near her very good friend and an equally lovely woman Rose "Roe" Mary Warren Creative Director (Rabbit Works). She is the amazing designer for Tinsel Trading and their windows. These windows are always popping up in "Blogland" and I have seen her hundreds of times in the window creating fabulous displays and finally got to meet her face to face.
