Martha at Macy's NY "peak"

I was at Macy's Herald Square in NYC and went upstairs to the "Christmas" department and SCORE they were setting up for their display that will be opened up in October. Well the lovely girl let me peak and I asked if I could take some pictures and had to share with all of you. How cool is that way before the public see it Me and all of you are seeing it. There is a bad picture of a opened shadow box but oh so altered it is. I kept thinking wow I can do this I can make this and oh those talented "Blog" ladies will definitely make these. Love Martha she is unique and her colors are always so vintage. The prices are not bad either. So Ladies if you are in NY go upstairs I believe the 8th Floor Furniture Department and go look and buy and also get lots of ideas for your projects!

My Gifts for Stevie

My Gypsy Mermaid Witches Cupboard Swap was due today September 12, 2008. My Swap partner/friend separated sister at birth (I am alot older) Stevie received her white box with black polka dots filled with goodies yesterday. These were some of the wrapped items (see the polka dotted box).
This broom had the sign on said "witch way" I put a black orange string to hang it up then the round box with ghost head on top I glittered the box and added the orange black and white paper garland for the "orange splash" the ghost head is from Michael's I made some singes with Martha Stewart stickers. The spooky sign I made glittered letters painted and glittered wood made a white fur handle to hang up and glittered a witch hat and embellished.

I made this Halloween tag with feathers coming out of the top. Chocolate pretzel stick molds, battery operated witch candle, in the treat bag cupcake picks (witches hat and pumpkin), Martha Stewart cupcake cups. Old fashioned pumpkin paper home decor, white mug with s on in and black and white M&M's inside, pumpkin spice hot chocolate from Mary Engelbreit, broom rides napkins, orange and black lollipop form Pea Coats & Party Hats from Candice (go look she has a great blog and cute stuff)! I had a few other things that I did not get to take a picture of.

This was a Halloween Swap I know you are saying "PINK"? yes we both love that color so there is a flower bloom candle and on the wrapping is a key chain with the letter S for Stevie and inside is a pocket mirror, a Hallmark small book all about Hope, list and note writing pad, a princess crown filled with pink bath gel pink bubble gum. Posey Prefers Pink book for Stevie's cute adorable sweet cheeks niece Brooklynne.

Hello Kitty

I went on a little adventure today at lunch. I walked to Park Avenue and found "Hello Kitty". This was a few sculptures from artist Tom Sachs. I found it a little sad that she was only white not the usual white and pink! But he is a man doesn't get "PINK". The sitting hello Kitty is a fountain water comes out of her eyes....but of course she is missing her PINK I would cry also! She is still a cutie.

First Ebay Buys

I can't believe I finally found 2 cute things to purchase on eBay. I wanted this doll head forever since seeing cute pictures on Jenny's, Every Day is a Holiday blog. She has the cutest stuff on Etsy (that I always manage to purchase from). Cute cupcake pictures and lots of other items go check them out. So I started bidding on this doll head and for $7.00 won it. I also bid on 1960's pack of 80 greeting cards some are garbage some totally stinkin cute! I can't get over the fact that they smell old.. I kept them out of the bag they came in for a while in an enclosed back porch so they would not fly away. Still smell old but better. It always amazes me on the fun vintage stuff people find on Ebay and flea markets. So much fun to sit at work or home and search the web. So what are some fun things you have purchased on eBay?

Cupcake Paper...Diet

Today was the first day back to a strict diet! I gained about 14 pounds and have to learn that if I get upset or mad or depressed that I should stick to the diet stronger and then be healthier look better and say (on the inside of course) "eat your heart out"! I will learn I promise. Well I was busy creating tonight after going walking and found a bag and inside was this cute cheer me up 12 x 12 scrapbook paper! Look at the darling cupcakes! Ahh this is what I am talking about 1 diet day down filled with cupcake paper for dessert. Right now I guess I will just enjoy looking at it and savor the paper until I have time to scrap again.
