QVC - Lisa Robinson's Girls Getaway - Day 1 Friday

I attended a QVC - Lisa Robertson Girls Getaway and had a Fabulous time! None of my friends wanted or could come with me and so I put my "big girl" panties on and went. It was a great time and right away I met 3 sisters from Boston who were so cute and so sweet I felt like I was one of the "Sistas" also. (Picture to come on Sunday Day 3 post) There were so many amazing women all with the same love for QVC and of course Lisa Robertson. I have to split this post in three or I will overload you all in pictures. I started a diet 3 weeks before and obviously I was not down 50 pounds by this event....ugh I am such a procrastinator; but I left my hang ups and anxiety at home and put my "Big Girl" panties on, which by the way were looser, and had fun and sharing pictures that I normally would not. I will do a separate post for each day and at the end a separate post about all our swag bags and gifts. I hope you come back. xoox

Friday at 3:00 I met with Mally Roncal's amazing Team for a little make-up session. Gabriel did my make-up and Teenie made sure everyone was taken care of and felt beautiful. Mally's Team takes on her approach to beauty which is to teach a woman how to be feel beautiful and to teach us to be more comfortable with what we have. Truly a wonderful experience.

Outstanding in the Field - Dinner

Image is from outstanding in the field's web page

Doesn't this look gorgeous and serene? I missed out on a fabulous "Outstanding in the Field" dinner this year. I saw that NY had a bunch of dinners and some in Connecticut but I completely forgot about it and today I went to check and of course they are sold out. Cest' La Vie.... You must look at their picture gallery and if you find a dinner near you then definitely go. Yes to some it is a little pricey and definitely not for everyone. Chefs use only fresh local grown ingredients and in some cases the dinners will be at the farm where the ingredients are grown fresh.

Pink Saturday - NC Lunch with Friends

Happy Pink "Friendship" Saturday!  I recently went to North Carolina to visit my Niece Daniela who had to move there for her job. I miss my little buddy, we used to do everything together in NYC. So I posted on Facebook that I was going toNC and who would be  around and the adorable and sweet Deborah and Rebecca replied fast. I could not wait to see the 2 of them. I ws sad that our Hostess Beverly was not around for our lunch. Daniela knew her Aunt Grace is into places that have a fun atmoshere with lots going on and good food (had to be Southern) so she picked "State Farmer's Market Restaurant". The wait staff wore overall and "PINK" shirts! The company and the food was wonderful. Lots of hugs and squishes, lots of chatting and lots of memories. We even got each other gifts which was so much fun! I promise to share that next time on trip pictures. Then Daniela went to Play Softball with her Company and we went down the hill to a wonderful Farmers Market! We had a wonderful afternoon and when it was time to go I felt so sad. I met these lovely women at an event Jennifer Hayslip hosted "Once Upon a Dream" in Ashville NC and then through blogging and Facebook. So if you are planning a trip or attending a wonderful event ask on Facebook and your Blog who is around and to meet for lunch. You can even do this in your home State. Trust me you will have a wonderful heartwarming time! Please visit our lovely Pink Saturday Hostess Beverly from How Sweet the Sound and all the fabulous Pink Saturday posts and make new friends! xoox
