Easter Bonnet Parade - Fifth Ave NYC

Happy Easter! This morning I went to Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral and after I strolled Fifth Ave and saw some wonderful Easter bonnets. My favorite are the old fashioned dressed people. I can imagine as they strolled the streets in the 40's. After I went home and enjoyed a lovely Easter Day with family! Perfect Hot Day. xoox

Jacques Torres is an amazingly talented man! He has several chocolate shops in NYC and this new one in Rockefeller Center. They have wonderful individual chocolates and a fabulous coffee hot chocolate bar and tables where you can sit and enjoy your goodies.



I love this wonderful rooster! I love the bunny also and if it was "PINK" then really would be but this rooster is gorgeous!















Teuscher Chocolates is a fabulous Pink flowery fairytale of a place. Everything is so Eastery!

Lavo NYC - fun dinner

My camera settings were off so I apologize for the bad pictures. I finally called Cannon to reset the camera.

I had Dinner at Lavo NYC. It was such a fun place. Not my first time but I guess the company I was with this time was better! They have a location in Vegas that also is wonderful and they are the same owners of TAO. Lavo is an Italian restaurant, Lounge and Nightclub. The decor reminds me of a French Bistro, simple vintage smoked mirrors and tiled walls and floors. We could not decide what to eat so we shared the scrumptious meal below. I was trying to count Weight Watcher points but then arrived the Zeppole Deep Fried Oreos and so I gave it up! lol I had so many people comment on Facebook about deep fried food, street and fair foods but this is different! It is gourmet, not greasy at all. Not saying street fried and fair fried foods are not good! But this is different. So the rest of the week I will be a good Weight Watcher's Girl and work out a little more to burn off the 2 Oreo's I ate.

Lavo in Italian means: I wash or I Clean! Well I guess that they knew people would clean their plates.

Pink Saturday - Paris Airport Salle de bains

Happy Pink Saturday! I left my camera at work, so this week I could not blog about the fabulous gifts I received from my BFF Cheryl (cone swap below). So since I have been missing Paris so much lately I scrolled through those pictures and found the pictures I took of the bathroom (French:Salle de bains) in the Airport in Paris! Pink Saturday - Tussie Mussie - Cone Swap

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy April! I am so ready for the beautiful Spring weather but have had no luck yet. I had to share this fun swap hosted by Jennifer Babcock from Covered in Glitter. It was actually quite funny my swap partner was my awesomest friend Cheryl from Nouveaux Portmanteau. We signed up last and so wound up with each other and last week when I visited we swapped! Cheryl is one of my greatest friends. She is so giving so attentive to every detail and just so talented and crafty. Look at Marie and the birdie and the gorgeous tulle topper she made. The pictures just do not "honor" it as it deserves. I just posted the Tussie Mussie / Cones and next week will post "ALL" the fabulous goodies she made and gave me...(sneak a pink table)! Get out I know...lol I am truly blessed and lucky!
