Economy Candy - in NYC

I was meeting a friend for Dinner and have not been near Delancy Street - Rivington (Downtown - NYC) in a long time and so I explored a little. Economy Candy was a treasure chest of "sweetness". Economy had just closed and I asked the cute young girl if I could just take a few quick pictures would be back another day to buy! Oh I tell you I was so glad that I could not buy anything because I would have gone nuts....not that I eat sweets but was thinking of future events I am going to and friends I could give some colorful treats to. My Favorite? The pearl colored big gumballs and of course the PINK ones.

One of the last places I visited in NYC was Economy Candy, but it was not for me -- my friend was buying bulk candy as her son was traveling to the Middle East and wanted to bring candy to the children he would see along his trip. There were so many temptations there!
