Ghost on Broadway & Dinner at Becco

TKTS Booth for Cheap Broadway Tickets

My Niece Daniela and I love Broadway plays but the prices are so very high that we would never be able to see as many as we do if it were not for TKTS. TKTS is a discounted ticket booth for Off Broadway and Broadway plays. You have to get your tickets the day off the play or show and be flexible to what is playing. Seriously, if you are visiting NYC sign up for e-mail notifications for TKTS and see if your play or show is on often and if you do not want to risk not seeing it then pre-order tickets!

One day after work on our way home we both looked at each other and thought we would go see Ghost. We bought tickets and sat up close and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cast was amazing. We did not have too high of expectations going to see it. We thought How can they possibly ever do the movie on Broadway and no Patrick Swayze or Whoopi Goldberg?  It was so fun and the special effects were great. Well that is "MY" opinion, some people did not like it as much as I did. Maybe they paid full price! lol After the show Daniela and I went to the side door and waited for the actors to come out and take pictures and get autographs. That was so fun seeing them all in street clothes and no stage make-up! Then we went to Becco and had an amazing Dinner. Becco is owned by Lidia Bastianich and her son Joe Bastianich.

We saw a couple who had gotten married take their wedding photo's in Times Square

Richard Fleeshman - Sam Wheat - (Patrick Swayze in the Movie)
Da'Vine Joy Randolph - Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg in the movie)
Bryce Pinkham - Carl the scheming friend & my Niece Daniela
Cassie Levy - Molly Jean (Demi Moore in the Movie)

(Becco)

Hello Grace,

I think that good acting is what really matters. And I take your opinion. :o)

Those ravioli...yum! Are the spinach and cheesed filled?
Did you eat them all?!!! Ha, ha, ha!
My favorite pasta, did you know that?

P.D. Musicals are not my thing but...I love music and...if you bring me Bon Jovi from Jersey, then we are talking! Ha, ha, ha!
