Natalea Hosts a Halloween Ornament Swap

I started in August thinking I was not going to be in a Halloween Spirit this year. I was not going to drag my decorations out and it seemed like some friends who are always excited about Halloween were not. Then I received an e-mail from Natalea asking a group of friends "Retro Beach Babes" who met in Canada at Sandy's lovely home for a weekend of crafting and bonding and she spoiled us all, to join in a Halloween ornament swap.  We were to make 6 but only receive 5 back. One was going to our Sweet LuLu who had been through alot and Nat thought it would be sweet to lift her spirits with cute ornaments. So I looked through my stash and started creating. Normally I am a procrastinator but with this talented sweet group I had to get going. lol  I loved each and every one and I decided to decorate a little. I am so grateful for my Retro Beach Babe's they pulled me out of a funk and got me moving!! Please visit the girl's blogs they have so many fun decorations and lots of inspiration going on there and Vivian even has a "give-away"!

Grace,
All of these decorations are so festive. I like the spooky bird and moon and the dazzling spider. Your tree is so cute and ready for Halloween. I know what you mean... sometimes it takes other's inspiration to get us going and decorate!

Your shadow box was so awesome that it's hard to believe you weren't in the Halloween mood. I spotted my pillow and sock monkey in there :)

Oh Emmm Geeee!!! I love your ornament!! And everyone elses too!! How fun!! I have to admit I'm a bit jealous too!! Your tree and vignette has inspired me to go down in my spider filled basement and pull up a few decorations! So if i don't make it back up it's all you fault!! Bwhaaaaaa
