Godiva Pink Saturday Cupcake
I received a Godiva Business Catalog and I was about to toss it out when I saw these gorgeous "PINK" cupcakes. I had 2 different Pink Saturday blog posts but I had to do this one this time. I could not believe Godiva does cupcakes also now. 6 cupcakes for $28.00. Isn't it funny how cupcakes are the biggest hit? French pastries used to be the talk...hmmm do you think the French make great cupcakes?
Beverly from How Sweet the Sound our wonderful Host for Pink Saturday asked us to feature a blog we have not visited and so this week I picked Jen from "Mimi Bella Boo"! I loved her pictures and it is the cutest colorful blog! Go visit with her and her family.

Pink Saturday Make-up
I am so late for this post...reason? Computer issues! I tried all day to post and computer would shut itself down. Please go look at other Pink Saturday Blog Posts over at Beverly from How Sweet The Sound.
I posted about Marie Antoinette and how fascinated I am and seems like the United States also. Every where I look I see her and I was shopping at Sephora (love them) and saw these cute make-up kits "French and Fabulous" from a company called "Too Faced"! Look at her Pink Hair...I love that on the packages there is all scenery from Paris and Marie and even the inside is decorated beautiful...This inspires me to Scrap and create...oh now to find some time! Happy Pink Saturday! xoxoxo

Pink Saturday - Little MissMatched
Little Miss Matched is a cute company with miss matched socks and gloves and other items. They sell children and adult items. The socks come 3 in a package totally different. I love this concept I think it is so much fun....ummm not for me I just can't let go and let myself be "Miss Matched"! I needed stocking stuffers for my 2 older nieces for Christmas and I went into their store and saw these cute pink socks...ok 1 pink 1 green 1 orange. So I bought 2 sets and I made a "Matched" pink set for me and kept theirs "Miss Matched"! Maybe one day I can just let go? They are cute though! LOL!
Go visit Beverly from How Sweet the Sound and Visit some more Pink Saturday posts!

My Valentine Tag Swap
Tada....January only and a swap done and sent out! This was so dificult because nothing for Valentine's Day is out yet except Hallmark and Candy. So I dug in my drawer of tricks and these cute dollie's and got crackleing...This Swap was from Natalea at Kandeland Blog, we were to make 20 Valentine Tags. I printed 20 of these "dollies" that I purchased from Kristin Hubick and decided they were too "white" too "bland" as is and wanted to crackle them to look vintage cracked a little. The first 3 had to be thrown out I read instructions wrote to Tim Holtz to ask what I was doing wrong oor if he had any tips, but no response he is way too busy my little message probably got lost in the thousands that people send. But I finally got it right and I like them. After it took a day to dry I dabbed them with a sponge dipped in Jet Black StazOn. I would have added more (hahaha) I got really sick and not at work and just wrapped them up and sent. What else can I add to this little tag...Sara no comment! hahaha All in all complicated and all I like them I hope you do also. xoxoxo

Pink Saturday
Happy Pink Saturday to all! I feel green today not pink at all. I can't wait to visit everyone on Beverly's How Sweet the Sound Blog to see all the wonderful Pink Saturday posts. I hope you visit also I promise not to spread any "green".
I am so fascinated with Marie Antoinette and everything seems "pink" around her and she seems to lately pop up on makeup jewelry candles...just about everything. Today's finds are from "Juicy Couture" Flagship store on Fifth Avenue. The Pink Bust I saw and purchased myself before Christmas...I had to have it. Crazy looks I was getting as tourists thought I was taking the display but there were a few and they had different cute necklaces on them. Even though the necklaces are adorable I would have just bought the bust! The two (2) candles are both honeysuckle scent and both gifts. Beautiful ceramic and glass containers and the boxes are gorgeous pink with Marie's picture on them.

Happy Befana "Epiphany" - Won a great prize!
Happy Befana "Epiphany", Three Kings Day!
"Befana" is a version of the Greek term "Epiphany". This is the celebration on January 6th celebrating the visit of the 3 Kings visit to Baby Jesus. According to the legend the three wise men on their journey were stopped by an old woman with a broom who asked them where they were going. They told her that they were following a star that would lead them to a newborn baby, and invited her to come along. But she replied that she was busy sweeping and cleaning and did not go. She soon regretted saying no, as she realized who they were going to see and her regret was so great that she continues to wander about Italy and at the Epiphany (January 6, when the Wise Men finally found the Child Jesus), begins rewarding good children and disappointing those who were bad.
This was the feast that the children used to wait for throughout the year, in the times when Babbo Natale (created in Coca Cola colors, the fat and joyous symbol of wealth imported from America, where he was derived from the figure of St Nicholas, who in Southern Italy used to bring gifts to children in past centuries) was unknown in Italy. The bony, ragged old lady was much nearer in spirit to the poverty of Jesus, and was the only gift-giver for children. The gifts she delivered were reminders of the gifts that on that same night the Magi following the star had offered to the Divine Child, born in a poor manger in Bethlehem. I am from the South of Italy and we celebrate Babbo Natale - Santa Claus - Old St. Nick!
**** My Befana gifts came last night from Natalea of Kandeland Blog. She had a giveaway of 4 beautiful digital sheets created by her great friend Sandy of Sandy's Creations (sold on Sandy's Etsy. I won them!! What a great Befana gift. I am in Natalea's Valentine tag book swap and I can't wait to see everyone's wonderful creations.

Compendium Gift
I received this amazing inspirational book "How Many People Does it Take to Make a Difference? 1" from Compendium. I was so shocked when I received it and let me tell you I was feeling down and really this was a wonderful "gift". I just read it all and really is touching, it is about the GIFT we all have to give. My favorite Compendium book is called "She"...and it is "Pink"! What a great company and a great gift! Go look at their website and see other books and inspirations they have! This book is not out yet but will be soon. Happy New Year!
