Pink Saturday Make-up

I am so late for this post...reason? Computer issues! I tried all day to post and computer would shut itself down. Please go look at other Pink Saturday Blog Posts over at Beverly from How Sweet The Sound.
I posted about Marie Antoinette and how fascinated I am and seems like the United States also. Every where I look I see her and I was shopping at Sephora (love them) and saw these cute make-up kits "French and Fabulous" from a company called "Too Faced"! Look at her Pink Hair...I love that on the packages there is all scenery from Paris and Marie and even the inside is decorated beautiful...This inspires me to Scrap and create...oh now to find some time! Happy Pink Saturday! xoxoxo

Beautiful makeup....I have noticed the fascination of Marie A. also but I havent gotten into it yet. Sorry about your computer troubles. Mine did the same thing this morning, just shut off by itself while I was in the middle of looking at PS posts, I started it back up and it was fine. Hope that doesn't continue. Have a great weekend.

Isn't it funny how Women in History keep coming back in a whole new way! Great makeup and you are right...a scrapbookers delight! Wondered where you were earlier today. Glad you got on for a bit of this Pink Saturday! I saved you a piece of cake! But those Birthday singing New Kids are GONE! Bette is singing about the Rose....great song...come for a listen unless your volume is Fritzed!

Hi Grace - and now it's Sunday, but I want to wish you a happy Pink Saturday... may be I am late, too ;o) Never mind! Your pinks are lovely! This week I am not participating but showing a little bit of our district capital Baden near Vienna. Perhaps you like the old houses there? Hugs, Traude

Those are the sweetest make up kits! I adore things with a French theme. I'm sorry your computer is misbehaving. That is so frustrating! A few months ago I was hit with a massive virus and it took almost two weeks to make things right again. I was beside myself. I guess we're a lot more dependent on these piles of microchips than we realize. I hope your pain will be short-lived! Have a great week. -Terri

What wonderful makeup kits, Grace! I think these would be so fun. Glad you posted them for us to see.

Kim, I have no doubt that the Lord sent you their way to pray for them. That blanket is a prayer blanket of sorts, and it could very well represent a turning point in their lives, a point the began when a very sweet, lovely person took it upon themselves to see the beauty among the ashes. This is why I love you and your blog SO much.

Warm hugs...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Brilliant idea for the pinks! In my teens and twenties, I loved wearing makeup. In my 30's and 40's I was so busy running around with kids that I only wore makeup when I went out. Now, I am just getting back into the makeup thing...Love it..its a girl thing.

Hi Grace!

Sephora has such wonderful things..i get lost in that store looking at all the lotions and makeup items, etc. These are nice sets...fun colors and the packaging is divine!

Sorry about your computer troubles...perhaps it was updating a lot and automatically restarting? I hate when Windows does that without warning :-(

PS I hope you do get a chance to visit SD someday! There are many tours available for the places we visited. The SW section of the state has so much to do and see!

Loopy and I picked up the same set at Sephora at Christmas! We really like it, especially the eye shadow palette, but I find that it is very flaky and powdery, do you? The dark black shadow with green flecks is beautiful, but it gets in my eyes :(

I am a sucker for anything Marie, and gorgeous packaging! Looks like you are too, my friend!!

Hi Grace

I just came across a statue of Marie Antoinette on another blog that I frequent. The blogger "Sea Witch" has a booth in a big flea market and was showing it on her blog today --here is the direct post-
http://musingsofaseawitch.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-new-case.html

The statue is in the second photo. I don't have any info about it and I don't know if she ships items but I thought of you when I saw it and thought you might like it and want to buy it from her.
Sea Witch has an interesting blog and I'm sure you'd also enjoy it!

I just stopped over to tell you that there is a little "giveaway-lottery" on my blog.
Maybe you've got the time and the good mind to go in for my draw. Would make me happy :o)

I am intrigued with Marie also and love beautiful packaging. It is amazing the different companies using her images I guess because the images are free and evoke such richness....I just blogged about our tag swap...I hope you stop by and say hi. I was glad to see you had good pictures of your tag posted because mine is blurry....sorry
