Pink Saturday - Godiva Fifth Avenue Style

Happy Pink Saturday to all! Godiva Chocolates opened a fabulous store on Fifth Avenue. As you step on the sidewalk on Fifth Avenue you are welcomed and lead by a plush red carpet to a gorgeous window display of a chocolate desk, chocolate chandeliers and flowers. Once you open the doors and go through the rich red drapes you are welcomed by a man or woman holding a silver try serving beautiful samples. The store is decorated with red drapes and chocolate chandeliers and rows of pretty boxes with gorgeous flowers and a cute teddy bear ready to go home with you. I was so enamoured with the most beautiful Godiva chocolate mail box decorated with hearts and love! They explained that not all the stores are decorated this way. I hope you enjoy the eye candy my sweets!

Please head on over to Beverly's blog "How Sweet the Sound" for more LOVE and visit all the Pink Saturday sweets blogs! xoox

I wonder how good I would have to be to get that chocolate mailbox. We had a little candy shop in town that sold Godiva and even when money was very tight I would get a gift of one chocolate starfish from hubby occasionally. That meant so much to me. Unfortunately the shop closed due to the economy....boohoo....

Oh, how wonderful! DIVINE. I loved this, G. NOW I need some Godiva.

If you're wondering where the words re tht hve the letter '' in them, you would hve to understnd tht it is sticking. I'm hving fits with my computer but longed to come by to visit you for PS. I simply hve to figure out words with other letters to type. ;-0 Not ez, mind you. Sometimes it works which is terribly confusing. the old girl needs to go in for tuneup, but it will be 3 weeks. YIKES... I see now tht it will hve to be.

PS blessings to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Happy Pink Saturday Grace Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, can you imagine this? I can't believe that chair and desk, who wouldn't want to work there? If you got shut in accidentally or had to work late, the LAND OF CHOCOLATE. Oh my gosh. The mailbox is so beautiful. And chandeliers out of chocolate too.

Godiva chocolates, oh what a dream. I thank you SO much for sharing. I would like one of those strawberries dipped in chocolate. That would be my favorite.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

WOW GRACE!!! LOOK AT THIS POST...first of all, I love how you use your fabulous city as the backdrop and setting for your blog. Then all the pink luster is right up my alley! Thank you for coming by..you mentioned a saying that this host was saying? I have no clue? Was it supposed to be French or Dutch? I am fluent in French and am learning Dutch, but other than that, I am lost too!!! Have a fabulous week! Anita

Dear Grace,
I love your name.
Happy Belated Pink Saturday
I didn't post this Saturday as we had to attend the funeral of our daughters best friend...they are both in heaven together now, no longer suffering from the terrorist called cancer.
You made me feel so special with this post. I have never been to New York or inside a store so posh and with servers holding luxurious chocolates on a silver tray. Your pictures are awesome. i have not had the pleasure of tasting a Godiva chocolate but yummy wouldn't be the word to describe such a seductive chocolate, I imagine.
I am your newest follower and would be so honored if you visited my blog and chose to follow me.
HAVE A SUGAR SWEET DAY
