Christmas in NY Day 21 - Laduree Soho

Day 21 of Christmas in New York:

Laduree Soho, New York City is a fun place for lunch for the Holidays or any days. Once you step off the Streets of NY and step inside Laduree you will be transported to Paris. Sometimes you just need to escape the everyday Holiday and work and City life. I was very excited to see the had Sonny Angel ornaments. You buy the ornament and fingers crossed you get your favorite color. I actually held my breath, crossed my fingers and toes and did a dance and with a feather cleared the yeah I seriously wanted the Pink one and I got it!!! Pink Pink Pink Pink, did I say Pink? I bought a few more as gifts I hope they will be happy with what they get. It is very difficult for me to not open them also. Joyeux Noël xoox

Christmas in NY Day 18 - Lotte New York Palace Hotel

Day 18 Christmas in New York:

Stopping by the Lotte New York Palace Hotel in New York City is always a lovely. They are on Madison and 51 st Street and conveniently located near many Landmarks.
As I was passing by I peeked through their beautiful gates on the Madison Avenue side and just admired the beauty and wished on the Star. I grabbed a cappuccino at Pomme Palais a Coffee shop inside with a French twist and sat outside for a few minutes to enjoy the peace and beauty of their garden. See you tomorrow have some shopping to do Christmas is next week......Oh I think I just spotted the Peanuts running by!

Christmas in NY Day 17 - Tiffany's Windows

Day 17 Christmas in New York:

Oh how that Tiffany blue pulls at my heart strings all the time. During the Holiday's Tiffany's window displays are extra elegant and beautiful. Audrey definitely had class having Breakfast there. The facade of the Tiffany Building is covered in shiny blingy jewels and the windows have little displays inside a mansion setting. There precious jewels are set perfectly in every window. Oh how I wish I could join Audrey for breakfast one morning. If you are on Fifth Avenue definitely stop and have Breakfast and snap a photo! See you tomorrow have a lot more to walk and share. xoox

Christmas in NY Day 16- Anthropologie

Day 16 of Christmas in New York:

Anthropologie window displays are a sweet gingerbread and sugary bakery display. I had my nose pressed against the windows looking in like a 5 year old in a candy store. I walked back and forth and in and out and discovered so many little treasures. What do they do with these displays when it is over I would love some gingerbread houses and a cake for my Journey to 50! As I went back inside Anthropologie I bought a few gifts for me....shhh don't tell anyone! Must go back to finish my shopping for others. Look at the pictures below as baker tools were used in the display.

Faux cakes with no calories... do not bite!

Christmas in NY Day 14 - Henri Bendel

Day 14 of Christmas in New York:

I adore Henri Bendel and their adorable decorations every year. I got to go to an event for the unveiling of the Holiday Decor and to meet the Fabulous Artist of the Bendel Girl artwork Izak Zenou. The first 20 people who made a purchase and got on line was to receive a Bendel Girl artwork. On line I was and made a bunch of new friends as we discussed how fabulous these girls were and how excited we were to meet Izak Zenou. We ate cupcakes and sipped champagne and we heard a squeal and the news spread quickly that he was sketching us as a Bendel Girl. As I approached and finally sat down I was being sketched not as a Bendel Girl but my face. People oohed and ahhed and I am very critical of myself and was so nervous that my face was out there for all these strangers to see. He asked me not to move not to make faces to sit straight and so I did not know what was going on. At least as a Bendel Girl I would be skinny and not really able to tell it is you, almost a little fairytale for a moment. He showed me and I loved it I really really loved it and got a little emotional. Cameras started to flash and everyone was saying wow that is YOU he sketched YOU. I put her away and I was gathering my thoughts on turning 50 in May and my goals for this journey, I brought her out ready to frame. I am going to make a 50 Journey memory board and she is my inspiration. Thank you Mr. Zenou for helping me find me and starting to like Myself again.

Lets go Swing on a Henri Bendel Tree and Shop till we drop.....See you tomorrow!
