Pink Saturday - Jenny and Aaron Classes

Happy Pink Saturday! Make sure you visit Beverly from How Sweet the Sound and see more fun "PINK" posts! I am still playing catch up with work and finishing up some swaps and unfinished projects and dealing with everyday life. Not complaining I am blessed. I have been so excited to do this Pink Saturday post to gush about Jenny and Aaron form Everyday is a Holiday Blog. I had seen Jenny and Aaron's work and had a few of their pieces but had never had the opportunity to take any classes with them until Art Opera and signed up for both classes. They brought balloons and decor both days PINK! Get out! The projects were so stinking cute and their personalities and love of art and what they do is intoxicating. We had so much fun in their classes and learned so much and thought wow we can make this out of that? Go figure... Jenny and Aaron are selling some extra kits and some other wonderful items on their blog, you must go see. Also they are going to be teachers at Art is You in Connecticut. Visit the site, they have 2 great classes and also check out the other talented teachers that will be there. Hope you all have some pink in your lives. xoxoxo

Pink Saturday Art Opera Style

I missed all of you last Pink Saturday when I was away in Red Bank NJ for Art Opera. I could not wait for Beverly of How Sweet the Sound to send the email. As I sat in Art Opera events my Pink Brain was working over-time. Lisa Kettell Of Fairie Enchantment was the most Magical Sugary Hostess and all of her teachers were wonderful and talented. There is a "Pink" Teacher I wanted to give her own special blog post too and I am sure you will love that next week!

Anne Denise Anderson of Whim and Fancy Design is a fabulous artist crepe paper incredible super talented teacher and now friend. She made this Marie Antoinette Doll at Vendor Fare for the make n take (1 of them). I just was the assistant whom held hot glue in place and smiled as she created this masterpiece. Yes the bottom is a bell..she is amazing! I was wondering does this woman from Texas ever sleep or is her Texas Size brain always churning? If you have never taken a class with her you definitely must it is such a treat. She will Be teaching at Paper Cowgirl in Texas, go look at the fabulous creations and teachers that will be there. I took other classes with her will post definitely during the week.

I had Holly Stinnett from Holly Loves Art create this beautiful Apron for Lisa Kettell from Faire Enchantment who was our Art Opera Magical Hostess.

I had M&M's made with "Frozen Charlotte Heads" and "Art Opera". The cute Gumball Containers were purchased from Heather at Speckled Egg.

Mermaid holding cotton candy I made to decorate my treat bags.

Cupcake Soaps I put in the Goodie Bags for some teachers and friends. The bottom is a bath fizz and top is actual soap. Of course I had to find Pink Cupcake Boxes and filled with pink tulle to decorate.

Art Opera Wednesday - Day 1

Art Opera was a great event...Can't wait for next year. I wanted to post some pictures will do so a little at a time. So much to tell. Oyster Point in Red Bank is a nice Hotel with fabulous views. The food was so great. There were issues with the hotel as Lisa cleared it up a group of wonderful women pitched together and started setting up. I was having a blast seeing the room transform into a sugary wonderland. There were so many amazing sponsors Beacon, Ranger, DMC, Sizzix, Making Memories to mention a few. There are too many pictures this first post ao I will keep the reading short. It was so great meeting new friends and taking classes with such talented teachers. Can't wait till next year.

Flower Tags

For Valentine's Natalea of Kandeland hosted a swap for tags and after we were all done we were sad that the group of very sweet women were not chatting and creating so Rachael of Rach-ology decided that she was going to host for the same group of women a "Flower" tag swap. We had months to prepare and I thought I had all the time in the world until the week before! I had an umbrella stuck in my head and could not find a die for it. I finally found an umbrella and glittered and got my tags completed. I could not change the design I had in my head.. I can't wait to see the rest of the tags.

I will be off the computer for the next few days going to Art Opera in Red Bank, NJ. I promise I will be back soon to post all about it..

Happy Easter - Late Pink Saturday

Happy Easter! Happy Late Pink Saturday...My computer Friday into Saturday and then last night was not cooperating. I thought it was caput gone finished but this morning I borrowed my friends laptop and posted but it seems like mine is ok, I was just afraid to upload anything right now. I am so blessed to have my family friends and all you blog friends. I want to wish all of you a very blessed Easter / Passover.

These pictures are in Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue in NYC. Yesterday me and my older Niece were shopping and enjoying all the people and sights and warm weather. By now you have all "Pink Saturday" visited. Beverly From How Sweet the Sound is amazing hosting this every Saturday. Next Saturday I will be at Art Opera in Red Bank NJ at "vendor fare". So no "Pink Saturday" for me. Look at the website and if you can't make the classes and live in the area come to the vendor fare, it is so jam packed with goodies. See you all soon. xoxox
