Paddington at the Gap NYC 5th Avenue

Paddington Bear pop-up shop in the Gap Fifth Avenue in NYC, was selling the cutes little baby clothes. It was icy and slushy outside and I was walking to grab my bus and there was the cutest Paddington shop. The walls had huge Murals of Michael Bond's book Paddington. New York City Skyline scenes from top to bottom of the walls for children of all ages to color in. Yes this child "ME" colored a Pink NYC Pretzel! I wish they had adult clothes because I was in love with the red polka dotted shoes....oh a Big Kid can dream!

Snow in Central Park - NYC

On Monday, February 3, 2014 It snowed all day in New York City. I left work a little early so that I could get a head start on my commute home. As I walked through the slush I looked up at the UNICEF Snowflake that was put up during the 2013 Holidays and smiled. It is hard to see from this first picture but in person it was breathtaking. It was the Mama Flake with it's babies all around adoring her. I felt like a child just smiling at this wonder. I had to take a picture of Trump Tower, the man removing the snow was dressed in a pristine uniform all formal and handsome. You are probably thinking, "what snow"? Me too I couldn't believe how clean even the street was in front.
I walked to the opening of Central Park and saw the Golden statue of General Sherman's Statue at Grand Army Plaza covered in snow. The "magic" began there and as I climbed lots of snow I saw a fairytale wonder of glistening white snow on the trees and a frozen pond. No matter how slushy and dirty the streets and sidewalks were around Central Park glowed. It was a living postcard.

Super Bowl XLVIII - Boulevard in NYC

This week NYC Times Square was turned into Superbowl XLVIII Boulevard. There were so many exciting and fun things to do and see from a tremendous Toboggan Slide, Fox Sports and their massive studio built in the Center of Times Square with the Blue NFL Robot "Cleatus" that looked like he was throwing the football at the Spectacular Times Square New Years Crystal Ball over the 2014! The excitement was amazing everyone from babies in carriages to older men and women were enjoying this NFL Superbowl amusement park. I ate dinner at Forty Ate a Danny Meyers Pop-Up Restaurant (Eater's NY Review) at the Renaissance Hotel. I had taken pictures of the Super Bowl Rings but the glass case at night was not being nice to my camera. When I went back the Hostess would not let me go in before 10:00 PM. Oh Well.

Macy's Herald Square was Decked out in its NFL Gear inside and out. The 4th Floor was transformed to a Super Bowl Extravaganza. Sea Hawks and Bronco fans were not the only ones there, tourist that were fascinated that American Football is so celebrated, bought treasures also. Charles Fazzino a local Artist is selling so many of his amazing art. I can't wait to watch the Super Bowl to cheer the Seahawks and the Broncos on and of course to see the Fabulous Commercials! H&M and David Beckham....I can't wait!!
