Pink Saturday -Ted Baker Love

Happy Pink Saturday! I was shopping in Bloomingdales for their Friends and Family sale (great), and walked right into the opening of the Ted Baker Boutique in Bloomingdales. The first Ted Baker store I had been in was in Las Vegas and I fell in love. Ted Baker started as a men's shirt store in the UK. Now they have Men and Women's clothing and Ladies, the bags and accessories are so over the top fabulous; and the clothing but I need to go down a bunch of sizes to get my buttocks in them! haha The department was so cheery and fun. The walls were wall papered in a purpley gray vintage wallpaper look, and on the paper were painted vintage plates and different furniture pieces. A DJ spun fun music and chocolates and drinks were passed around. It was so much fun. They have a Fifth Avenue location opening soon and that makes me "bloody" happy! Running to lose weight so I can wear some of their fabulous fashions...lol

Pez Visitor's Center in Orange CT

I was shopping in Connecticut as I do often and I saw a new sign that said "Pez Visitor Center". I screamed! So I went to check it out and was so excited. When you walk in they give you a Pez pass to wear around your neck and thenyou look up and there is a big blue Pez Dispenser that the head slides back and a Pez slides out. It is so bright and so magical. I felt like a little kid. They even have a working factory that you can see the workers make the Pez during the week. I have to go back. I wish I would have had someone take a picture of me there. You have to click "PEZ" for the history and fun facts. So if you are in Orange CT or passing through you have to visit.

Pink Saturday Bubble Take....

Happy Pink Saturday! I am addicted to cosmetics, perfumes and bath products. I bought this at Sephora around Christmas and since I received so many different sets as gifts I had not had the chance to open this. Well tonight I had no idea for a Pink Saturday post and was going to just skip it all together and I looked in my closet and there SHE was.... "Soap and Glory"! So after a long week I am going to Do a Bubble Take put Pink Pj's on and make some tea and read our Hostess' Beverly from How Sweet the Sound's Blog and all the fabulous other Pink posts...Happy Pink Weekend! xoox

Pink Saturday Ralph Lauren Windows

Happy Pink Saturday! I had to share some beautiful Pink Pastel window displays from Ralph Lauren on 73rd and Madison Avenue in NYC. Their windows are always so gorgeous and such a sophisticated design. This was perfect for Pink Saturday. Pink Saturday a Crown/Tiara Gift

Happy Pink Saturday! This week I received the prettiest "PINK" Crown from the Queen of Crowns & Tiaras Gabriela Delworth. Gabriela is a teacher and artist a book publisher and a really good friend. I had chatted back and forth a few times in "Blog Land" and commented on Pink Saturday posts and one day she came to New York City and we met in person. We had the best time in such a short visit. I was so nervous that I would bore Gabriela she is such a fabulous artist and it is a nervous feeling meeting someone you really do not know or you have one idea of them and they of you and then you are left face to face. Well can I tell you she is "real" she is sweet and a true Queen. I posted about our visit a while back so I will not go too into detail. I was so touched as I opened the "flat" box and there it was a gorgeous pink crown/tiara for me! I screamed and shrieked and could not wait to post and brag about it on Pink Saturday. I have met so many blog friends in person and some I know will be forever friends. It is not about who gets the most Pink Saturday comments or who makes the best muffins or who sends you treasures, it is about a bond started by:

Godiva - Pre Valentine Event

Happy Pink Saturday. My niece Daniela and I got to attend a Pre-Valentine Chocolate making cocktail party at Godiva Chocolate's Corporate offices in NYC. We were greeted by lovely Godiva employees and handed champagne. The room was decorated so elegant and festive. Hor'derves were passed as well as a platter of different Godiva chocolates. On Hand for our demonstration and hands on class was Godiva's Executive Chef Chocolatier Thierry Muret. Mr. Muret taught us how to temper chocolate and how to make tuxedo strawberries and told us everything and I mean everything about chocolate! We then put our aprons on and got to work ahem (clearing my throat) we got to "play in chocolate"! We were spoiled we had trays of super huge sweet strawberries to decorate and we got 3 heart shaped fudge hearts to decorate. Chef Muret ordered special organic sugar coated roses and pansies for us to use along with the other decorations. We were definitely spoiled! Thank you Chef Thierry Muret and Godiva.
