MAC - Pink Saturday & Birthday

I passed by the MAC Store on Fifth Avenue and smiled! My Birthday is Monday and so not a "Happy Birthday" this year with my brother battling that ugly "C" word! This was exactly the guilty pleasure I needed. I did not need make-up but this"new" line "Baking Beauties" put a smile on my face. The display was so cute with faux cakes. No calories!!! I bought some pieces and blocked the outside world for a while. Pink was all around me and I knew it was all GOOD. Look at the painted PINK Model. I am sure she appreciated the faux no calorie cakes also. lol

Thierry Muglar Perfume Truck & Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday! I went to visit a dear friend from Bermuda and her daughter in the City for Tea at American Girl Cafe and as I was walking I saw this cool Thierry Muglar Perfume Truck. They filled small vile's of perfume for you to sample. I chose Alien it smells so fresh and clean. They are best known for their "Angel" star shaped bottle. I do like Angel but wanted to try Alien. Then I walked to American Girl for a fabulous tea with Kelly and Hannah!

Bird by Will Ryman - Flatiron NYC

Bird an incredible Sculpture made from Fabricated Steel Nails by Artist Will Ryman is in the middle of  23rd and Fifth Avenue - Flatiron in NYC. It was so interesting to see. This is right across from Madison Square Park home of the famous Shake Shack. Madison Square Park changes art pieces and hosts lots of events and festivals. The Flatiron is a wonderful area to shop and eat, one of my favorites is Eataly right on the corner of 23rd. A fun evolving area a must on your next NY visit and if you are a New Yorker have fun exploring!

Happy Easter - Tag Swap

Happy Easter and Happy Pink Saturday. I have not been around bloggland since Valentine's Day but promise to be better and show you more of NYC. Some Video's also. My beautiful Circle Journal friends did another swap, this time Easter tags. Some also decorated the back just as gorgeous as the front. I did not I just did the front. I guess all these years of swapping tags I never saw anyone do the other side so I did not but I tell you I will never "not" do the back agaain. I can not begin to explain all the life trials my family and I have been through and this group without knowing have helped me keep the Faith!  I think finishing the back of a tag even with a few little things makes it interesting and you get extra tags. I hope you and your family and friends have a beautiful Easter! xoox

Royce - Chocolate Madison Avenue

Royce....like Rolls Royce of Chocolate opened at 509 Madison Avenue near 53rd Street, opened before Christmas but I did not get to go in until last week. Royce is from Japan and joined the Madison Avenue Chocolatiers in 2012 the first store in the USA. Royce is a very small hall shaped "boutique" that sells only half of the different varieties that it makes. My very favorite is potato chips in fromage blanc (white chocolate). A little pricey at $17. but very worth a treat. Valentine's day is approaching would be wonderful to give an extra sweet item with that piece of jewelery for her or for him, would be divine to give yourself with a sweet!
