Girl's Weekend - Retro Beach Babes

I was so thrilled when I received a cute invite in a bottle for me to join Sandy and four other lovely ladies at her house for some girl weekend fun! Our theme is "Retro Beach Babes". I am so excited to fly to Canada and create and have fun with my friends. Sandy has such a wonderful Itinerary planed for us. I feel like I am going to go play with my "Cousins"! I adore my cousins and when we get together we giggle and talk all day.     It is coming up this weekend and I can't wait to hug all those adorable sweet "Babe's". 

I bought this Americana sign for $3.00 and wanted to make it more "Pink" style...

 I was walking in the Flatiron  District in NYC one evening and spotted these Retro Beach Babes! They were gorgeous and thought of Sandy! I seriously wanted to buy each and everyone for the girls.... Canadian Customs and my pocket book would frown upon it!! lol That's ok I have fun gifts for the girls.

Pink Saturday - Georgetown Cupcake in Soho NYC

Happy Sweet Pink Saturday! I had to share one of my favorite cupcakes "Georgetown Cupcakes". Until recently "Georgetown Cupcake"  have been in Washington, DC. Also known as D.C. Cupcakes the two sisters Katherine and Sophie also have a TV show on TLC and have a book out also. I was so excited when I saw they had also opened in Soho in NYC. It is a big place with chairs and tables to sit try some cupcakes and have coffee or milk to go with the incredibly delicious and moist cupcakes. What I love about these cupcakes are that they are not over the top sweet and very moist. On one of the episodes on TLC they aired Katherine's Bridal Shower! Katherine collects mixers and her sister Sophie gifted her with a special "PINK" Swarovski Crystal mixer. The mixer is a fabulous Kitchen Aide but the special PINK  Swarovski Crystal one is from a third party: "Bling Diva".  I think I watched that episode a thousand times just drooling at the PINK mixer. Sophie and Katherine wear Pink Wellie Boots by "Hunter" often on the show and look adorable in them. I hope you enjoyed all this PINK cuteness.

Kewpie Mayonnaise!

Kewpie Mayonnaise? Yes! I was shopping at Pearl River Mart in Soho, NYC and really never go in the food section but Kewpie was calling me and I went. I felt Kewpie up....ahem (clearing my throat)...I felt the bottle to see if it had a Kewpie face and body  but it was just a smooth soft container. If you are ever in the area make sure you stop on in and see all of Pearl River Mart's treasures.

Pink Saturday - Bathing Beauty

Happy Pink Saturday! I have been having issues posting to blogger lately. I have installed Google Chrome a few times and frankly getting tired of it all. So I am very sorry if I have not visited everyone's Pink Saturday posts!!!  

I was walking through Soho in NYC and saw this fabulous piece of art created by "Carole A. Feurman" and the piece is called Survival of Serena. It was so fun seeing this Bathing Beauty in the middle of the sidewalk and every woman's face with a smile on it as they passed by or stopped to read what it was.  I wanted to share this adorable "Doughnut Plant". It is so cool ad industrial looking inside and they have "square" doughnuts! You have to read all about the History it is very fun. I have to say that these were the lightest fluffiest doughnuts I have ever had. So if ever in NYC near the Flatiron stop on in for a "square doughnut"!
