Pink Saturday - Pink Drinks

Happy Pink Saturday to all! I made the tags above for the Pink POP French champagne bottles with "silly straws" for Art Opera Pre-Party to give to the girls. Lisa Ketttell is hosting this amazing event called "Art Opera" in April in Red Bank, NJ. A bunch of women are going to go to have a party and also make the name tags/buttoniers for Art Opera. I thought would be cute to have some bubbly for all. Sandy from Sandy's Creations was so wonderful to send me a picture of a Charlotte doll head and I shrunk and colored hair pink and decorated. Then to Celebrate Beverly's Pink Saturday I put in more Pink to drink. xoxox

Pink Saturday - Candy Dresses

I love Pink Saturdays! Thursday it started snowing raining in NYC and on my way to grab the bus I walked through my building through Henri Bendel Store to cut through to Fifth Avenue to stay dry as long as I could and I look up and see this "Pink" dress made from candy wrapped in pink wrappers! Get out...I know! (sorry for all the exclamations) I stood in awe at the amazing talent and wondered who had this idea? As I was walking out the store I looked up and saw a dress made of pink and brown cupcake liners and one made with buttons and thread spools. From far away they look like plain dresses but up close you see the intricate details the perfectly placed items. I smiled as I opened my umbrella. It didn't matter how miserable the outside weather was anymore all this Pink pretties made me happy...Please get happy also and visit Beverly from How Sweet the Sound and some more Pink Saturday blog posts. Re-Cycled Bottle Flower Garden in Snowy NY

I am so ready for Spring! It is snowing in NY as I type but just not sticking yet. I went to Anthropologie last night and noticed their very cool recycled bottle "Flower" garden window display. I just smiled at how very cool and artistic not to mention "Green" this was. So for now I have my "recycled bottle flowers" to enjoy and hopefully soon can enjoy the real ones! xoxox

I bought ZoZo the Magic Queen calendar before Christmas and fell in "Love" with it and thought I had to share for Pink Saturday. I did not post all the pictures just a few that had "Pink" in them. Pink Saturday Valentine

Happy Pink Valentine Saturday! I am in a Valentine funk..I love Valentine's Day but this year these 2 cards are the only things I put together! I have visited so many blogs and so amazed of all the fabulous Valentine pretties people made. There is always Easter coming up! lol I think I will just wait for some Art Opera Swaps.

Pink Saturday - Sweets - Henri Bendel

Another Pink Saturday rolled around! I had a few Pinks on reserve but when I saw the new Henri Bendel window display I knew it had to be the "1"! I stood there staring at the manequin head cakes and the sweet cart filled with French macaroons, love the pink ones, and cupcakes! It is difficult to get a good picture without the glare of the windows. I am lucky I work in the office building above it and get to take the pictures a few times. Ok I have mentioned that Marie Antoniete is "big" (Let them eat Cake) and also cupcakes are "big" also! Cupcakes are all over and cupcake shops are doing well! I love the way art and crafts and everyday life all come together.
